Tin Can-Can

Scientists have programmed robots to perform synchronized dance steps.

Have you seen those dancing robots?
They are quite light on their feet.
Through their bulky bodies flow watts
as they boogie on concrete.

Their array of steps are awesome,
through high-tech computer trickery.
They are able to pull off some
quite adept robot terpsichore.

They receive a lot of flattery
for each chassé and correct kick.
And their slide, powered by battery,
from all counts is quite electric.

While appealing, I’m disdainful –
wouldn’t purchase one of those.
Since you know what would be painful?
Androids stepping on your toes.
