The Lie that Binds

A Florida man plays fast and loose with stolen property.

A man proposed to one girlfriend
with rings that he stole from another.
His flim-flam began to unfurl when
both women ID’d the same lover.

One woman found she was forsaken
when pictures were posted on Facebook
displaying the jewels that were taken
by her fiancée – or, in this case – crook.

These women then banded together
to track down the man who had lied to them
and see if detectives knew whether
or not this deceit had been tried again.

The man has a copious rap sheet;
the name he went by was a pseudonym.
Once caught, prison may take a back seat –
since these women first hope to neuter him.
