A distant space adventure may be generating some unintended panic.

they’ve flown a bird (the kind that’s whirly)
on Mars – run by remote control.
This helicopter’s sleek design
devised for Mars’s atmosphere.
Performance that’s been eked: divine –
by interplanetary gear.
The craft’s name: Ingenuity.
These flights a cause for celebrations.
It suits its purpose to a tee,
exceeding NASA’s expectations.
Each time it makes another run,
we revel in success. Although:
are Martians calling 9-1-1
to say they’ve seen a UFO?
