I spent years in the Congress, then two tries for President. Little support meant: withdraw.
So here’s my position: it’s pointless to think we can fix things by passing a law.
People – especially teenagers – need to do something that doesn’t require
Elected officials to make any effort at all in response to gunfire.
The Hollywood people and liberal billionaires bankrolling this really are
Just way off the mark with their phony gun laws — when the answer is: “Learn CPR.”
These teens and their followers made a mistake with this march, using it as their showcase.
(Physicians weighed in: your survival’s assured if you do not get shot in the first place.)
The government doesn’t have standing to limit a citizen’s right to his weapon.
It’s only when gays want to marry, or women abort, that the Congress should step in.
These protestors foolishly think that this rally will add to their mill much more grist.
But no law protecting their noses will ever impinge on the rights of my fist.
Now, don’t get me wrong – I consider it awful our schools have been under attack.
But the only arrest we should focus on here is the kind doctors call “cardiac.”
For people to think that the government’s going to do something? That’s just misplaced.
I’d rather see people get blood on their hands, even if it means egg on my face.
