There’s a new theory regarding what led to the end of dinosaurs.
It’s long believed an asteroid
made prehistoric creatures void.
But now researchers theorize
a comet let to their demise.
In Mexico, an ancient crater
long has been an indicator
something huge on Earth was plunked
and dinosaurs all went defunct.
The late Cretaceous era stops,
which means no more Triceratops.
No longer surfacing before us
is the mighty Brontosaurus.
It’s clear some kind of great collision
led to dinosaurs’ excision.
